Shadow & Line at the Museum in the Park in Stroud – artists exhibiting are Hilary Bower, Caroline Bartlett, Elizabeth Turrell, Peter Archer, Keith Varney, Penelope Jordan, Linda Brassington & Joy Merron. Selected at Newark Park National Trust property near Ozleworth. In this magical setting 30 extraordinary artists will exhibit work. Among the work will be site responsive work from 7 makers all inspired by the magical setting of Newark Park. (see leaflet left).

Curated by Charlotte Abrahams and Lizzi Walton. Designing Craft Making for Pleasure at The Wilson in Cheltenham with iconic contemporary objects connecting fine craft to good design displayed alongside the Arts and Crafts collection the quality of the making and its ability to bring pleasure to our daily lives. Exhibits include work by Peter Layton; Michael Eden, Jill Shaddock, Cleo Mussi, Pinch and Ercol with Tamasyn Gambell;  Tom Raffield.

Artist led exhibitions are Tide Marks with inspired textiles by Alice Fox; Footsteps new site responsive work from Amy Wallace and Carole Waller in Footsteps at the Corinium Museum Cirencester; Paper Dreams from Sticky Paper Studio at the Pink Cabbage Gallery; Gloucestershire Guild of Crafts; 5 artist led exhibitions in Chalford at the newly renovated Victoria Works.
Select is delighted to welcome students from Hereford College of Art this year. They will be to exhibiting their work in Stroud shop windows.

The Select Trail will be over two weekends (10/11 & 17/18 May) and in 2014 we welcome a new professional photographer, Ben Wright, who will be taking photograph’s of the artists and their work.
