Newark Park the National Trust property will have an exhibition of mixed fine craft work from 30 artists including Katharine Morling, Caroline Bartlett, Matthew Harris, Ruth Dresman, Caren Garfen and Eleanor Glover. Set in glorious countryside Newark Park is a must to visit for 2014.
Also new to 2014 Select is The Wilson in Cheltenham where work from leading designer makers, who bring pleasure to our lives through their work, will be on show. There is a linked day of conversation and debate. Speakers include Freddie Robbins, Peter Ting, Ptolemy Mann, Carmel Allen from Heals and writers Charlotte & Peter Fiell. This will connect to our annual symposium where we welcome leading names from the world of Design and Craft. Please come and join the debate.
Artist led exhibitions with Alice Fox, Sticky Paper Studio artists, Sarah Brooker and friends plus our hugely successful World Textile Fair will be back.
More details will be posted soon and of course the high quality Select festival brochure will be out from March.
