Asha Sarabhai created an extraordinary collection of clothing and interior textiles, skilfully combining the traditional handcrafted techniques of weaving and stitching with minimal, pared down, contemporary design. Inge opened Livingstone Studio gallery in October 1991 with an exhibition of sumptuous tie-dye silk dresses and shawls from the Raag collection. Such was the success of this they have continued to show the collections every season for the past 23 years.
